Careers at Parent Scheme

At Parent Scheme, we’re shaking up the world of working parent support. We’ve built a platform that helps employers put incisive, trustworthy advice into the hands of their hardworking parents – but in a fun, graphic-filled format that’s a pleasure to read, watch and use. With a pipeline of fresh content and expert-led coaching (all delivered in-platform), it gives working families everything they need to navigate this incredibly rewarding but notoriously tricky life phase: childcare and admin advice, support for finances and wellbeing, career development, interactive tools, videos and much more.

We’re a small, close-knit startup, headquartered in beautiful Durham but with team members working remotely across the UK. And we’re also attracting attention from some of the biggest names in business. Because of this, we’re now expanding the team. We’re excited that you might like to join us on the journey.

Our ethos

We’re building things that put people first, with a team that loves working together.

We love new ideas; every day, we’re turning great concepts into content that makes a difference.

We believe in open, inclusive advice; we never talk down to our users or tell them what to do.

Added value

Added value

We want to go the extra mile for our users, with substantial, expert-led advice they can trust.

We want people to say what they mean and mean what they say — integrity, honesty and straightforward speaking.

From the tone to the unique graphic style, we want our platform to be full of humour and fun.

Life at Parent Scheme

The Parent Scheme brand style is inclusive and accessible — and fun to work on. But it’s also meaningful. We’re building things that will make life better and less stressful for hardworking parents around the world.

As a small but close-knit team, every piece of work we produce individually carries weight. Your ideas and input will be the building blocks of our product. They’ll shape the future of the brand.

Remote working is mainstream now, but we’ve always been big fans of it. Parent Scheme is based in beautiful Durham, UK, but we have team members in Oxford, Wales, the south coast – and Australia.

We live what we create. Parent Scheme is built and led by HR professionals, legal eagles, medics, and technology experts – and we’re all very different. Introverts, extroverts, starter-finishers, brainstormers. No need to fit a mould, our mould is designed to embrace difference.
